Some Webflow AI features work in context — for example, quickly create professional, responsive websites with Webflow’s AI site builder or generate contextually relevant copy for things like a meta title, description for SEO, or your latest blog post. Others use the Webflow AI Assistant, a powerful conversational experience that can help you learn Webflow as you work and perform actions like designing and generating new sections. With the Webflow AI Assistant, you can even generate and deploy full-stack web apps using nothing but simple natural language prompts.
Using the AI Assistant to get contextual help with Webflow
No need to leave your canvas when you need help. The AI Assistant searches the Webflow Help Center and provides in-context answers right within the app, keeping you focused on your site build while getting the guidance you need. Using the AI site builder to build a site

Using the AI Assistant to modify page designs
The AI Assistant helps automate repetitive tasks and streamline your workflow by generating page sections tailored to your needs. The Assistant matches new sections to your site’s existing styles and content.
Note
While in beta, modifying page designs using the AI Assistant is limited
to a small number of free templates and sites created with Webflow’s
AI site builder.

Using Webflow AI to generate copy and Collection items
Webflow AI helps you quickly generate and refine contextually relevant copy for your site without leaving Webflow — no need for lorem ipsum. You can also use Webflow AI to generate Collection items in bulk or individually.
Note
You must have a paid
Workspace or Site plan
to generate and edit copy using Webflow AI. Generating Collection
items with Webflow AI is available on all plans except the Basic
Site plan.

Use Webflow AI to uncover and fix accessibility, SEO, and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) opportunities across your site. You can run audits to find missing content like image alt text, meta titles, meta descriptions, and schema markup — then generate optimized content automatically with Webflow AI.

Build full-stack web apps with Webflow AI
With the Webflow AI Assistant, you can also generate, refine, and deploy full-stack web apps — all within Webflow. You can connect your apps to your site’s CMS content and variables, customize layouts and styles, and deploy them to your custom domain via Webflow Cloud.

Enable or disable Webflow AI
Webflow AI can be enabled or disabled for a Workspace. When Webflow AI is enabled, you can use generative AI features across Webflow, including:
getting contextual help with Webflow
building sites with the AI site builder
generating sections, backgrounds, spacing, and colors
generating contextually relevant copy
generating Collection items
running SEO, AEO, and accessibility audits
generating meta titles, meta descriptions, and schema markup
building full-stack web apps
- generating data-driven variation suggestions with AI in Webflow Optimize to launch more relevant, high-performing content
- analyzing variation performance with AI-powered insights to surface trends and key takeaways in Webflow Optimize
To enable or disable Webflow AI for a Workspace:
Open the Workspace you want to update
Go to Workspace settings > General
Toggle Enable Webflow AI on or off
Note
Disabling Webflow AI does not disable automatic translations for Localization or the core features of Webflow Optimize — both of which use machine learning.
