Learn how to connect ChatGPT to your Webflow sites and Workspaces.
You can connect ChatGPT to Webflow via the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and use it to manage, update, and create site content using natural-language prompts.
For example, ask ChatGPT to update your Blog Collection — ChatGPT can generate content, create new Collection items, and publish them to your live site.
Before you get started
Only Workspace owners, Workspace admins, and Site managers can authorize access to a site via the Webflow MCP server.
Set up the Webflow app in ChatGPT
To connect ChatGPT to your sites and Workspaces using the Webflow ChatGPT App:
- Open the ChatGPT app
- Click your profile name at the bottom
- Click Settings > Apps > Browse apps
- Search for Webflow
- Click the Webflow app
- Click Connect
- Choose the sites and/or Workspaces you want to give ChatGPT access to
- Click Authorize App
Note
By default, ChatGPT will ask you to approve any actions it wants to take in Webflow. You can manage connected apps in ChatGPT > Settings > Connected apps.
What you can do
Once connected, you can @Webflow in ChatGPT to manage your Webflow sites through conversation. Here are some things you can ask ChatGPT to do:
- Analyze site performance (with the Analyze add-on)
- Update CMS content
- Draft and publish landing page copy
- Review site content and workflows
