How to accept a client payments request (as a client)

Updated

Once your freelancer or agency sends a client payments request, you’ll take over the billing for your Webflow site in just a few steps.

To accept a payments request, make sure:

  • You have access to the email address to which your freelancer or agency sent the request
  • You have a Webflow account using the same email that received the payment invitation request

How to accept a client payments request

  1. Open the email from Webflow about your client payments request
  2. Click Accept request in the email
  3. Log into your Webflow account — or create one using the same email that received the request
  4. Follow the prompts to enter your billing information
  5. Click Add payment method
  6. Choose your billing frequency (monthly or annual)
  7. Click Pay now to complete the checkout

After you accept the request, you’ll take over the site’s billing. This includes Site plan charges, bandwidth, and any add-ons like Webflow Analyze, Optimize, or Localization.

Manage payments after checkout

Once you’ve taken over billing, you’ll notice a Payments tab in your Dashboard. From there, you can:

  • View paid, unpaid, declined, or upcoming invoices
  • Monitor charges for your Site plan and add-ons
  • Update, cancel, or change your Site plan

Note

You can update your billing info or switch between monthly and annual billing anytime.
