My payment failed — what should I do?

Learn what happens after a failed payment and how to resolve it.

When a payment fails, Webflow’s billing system automatically attempts to take the payment a few more times within a short grace period. During this time, your Workspace and/or Site plan features (including add-ons) continue to work as expected, giving you time to fix the payment issue. However, if subsequent payment attempts continue to fail, your plan(s) will be automatically canceled.

If you don’t resolve the payment issue during the grace period, any custom domains you’ve connected to your Webflow site(s) will be automatically disconnected when the Site plan is canceled. Learn how to reconnect a custom domain if your Site plan is canceled.

If you do resolve the payment issue within the grace period, you can initiate a new payment attempt (instead of waiting for the billing system to automatically try again) by updating your payment card.

  1. Go to Workspace settings > Billing > Payment method
  2. Click Update payment method
  3. Update your card details
  4. Click Save
