Learn how to regain access to your Webflow account if you can’t log in.
You may be unable to log in to your Webflow account for several reasons — such as a forgotten email or password, a two-factor authentication (2FA) issue, or losing access to your primary Webflow account email. Here’s how you can try to regain access.
Reset your password
If you forget your Webflow password, you can reset it by going to the forgot password page and entering your Webflow account email address. We'll send you instructions on how to reset your password via email.
I tried resetting my password, but I can’t access my email
Webflow uses your primary email to authenticate account ownership. If you can't access the email associated with your Webflow account, you’ll need to work with your email provider to recover it. Learn what to do if you can’t access the email associated with your Webflow account.
I forgot which email I used for my Webflow account
If you can’t remember which email address you used for your Webflow account:
- Check your inboxes for emails from Webflow, including your spam and junk folders.
- If you have multiple email addresses, try logging in with each one. If you’re unsure of the password too, try resetting your password using each of your email addresses.
- If you still can’t determine your Webflow account email, please send us an account recovery request.
My email and password are correct, but I still can’t log in
If you're confident that your email address and password are correct, but you still receive an error when trying to log in to Webflow, please send us an account recovery request.
Resolve two-factor authentication (2FA) issues
If you’ve enabled 2FA on your Webflow account and can’t generate a code or access your authentication app:
- Use a backup code — we issue 8 one-time backup codes that we ask you to save when you enable 2FA. You can use one of these backup codes to log in if you can’t generate a code using your authentication app.
- If you added a secondary email to your account and you're still logged in, you can disable 2FA to regain access to your account.
- If you can’t use a backup code or disable 2FA via email, please send us an account recovery request.
