I need to transfer my Workspace to someone else

Learn how to change the owner of your Workspace.

Note

Only the Workspace owner can request a transfer of ownership. If you’re not the owner, ask them to follow the steps below.

If you’re a Workspace owner and need to transfer your Workspace to someone else, you’ll need to send a request to Webflow Support via the Support Portal.

Before sending a request, make sure:

  1. the new owner has a Webflow account and you know their account email address. They’ll need to sign up for a Webflow account if they don’t already have one.
  2. to change the payment card on file for the Workspace, if necessary.
  3. there are enough seats in your Workspace. If the new owner isn’t already a member of your Workspace and you plan to remain as a member, you may need to add an extra seat.

Note

You can’t have more than one Starter Workspace in a single account. If your Workspace is on the Starter plan and the new owner also has a Starter Workspace, you’ll need to upgrade one of the Workspaces to a paid plan or transfer all sites into one Workspace and archive the remaining empty Workspace.
