Reconnect a custom domain if your Site plan is canceled

Updated

Learn how to reconnect your site to a custom domain if your Site plan is canceled.

When a Site plan is canceled (i.e., downgraded to the free Starter plan), all custom domains connected to that site are automatically disconnected. To reconnect your site to its custom domain(s), you’ll need to:

  1. upgrade your Site plan
  2. connect your custom domain
  3. publish your site to your custom domain

Important

If your Site plan was canceled due to a failed payment, you must pay the outstanding invoice before you can upgrade your Site plan. Update your payment card in your Workspace billing settings to initiate a new payment attempt.

Upgrade your Site plan

Connecting a custom domain requires a paid Site plan. To upgrade your Site plan:

  1. Go to Site settings > Plans
  2. Toggle Billed monthly or Billed yearly (with yearly pricing you can pay upfront for a full year at a discounted rate, saving up to 22% compared to paying monthly)
  3. Choose the Site plan you want
  4. (Optional) Add a promo code if you have one
  5. Click Pay now to immediately charge your card on file
