Create a new Workspace

Create an additional Workspace to add to your Webflow account.

A Workspace is a space where you stage sites — and where you can invite teammates and clients to work on sites together. Your Webflow account can have multiple Workspaces (e.g., a Starter Workspace, a Workspace on a paid plan, and a Workspace that someone invited you to join).

Upgrading your Workspace plan gives you access to enhanced staging capabilities and advanced collaboration features. For a detailed comparison of the Workspace plan features, check out our pricing page.

About the Starter Workspace

When you sign up for Webflow, you begin with a free Starter Workspace. You are the owner of this Workspace and can create up to 2 free Starter sites (also called “unhosted sites”).

You may want to keep your Starter Workspace for your individual work and create a new, additional Workspace with a paid plan to use for collaborating with teammates. If you convert your original Starter Workspace to a paid plan, you may create a new Starter Workspace.

How to create a new Workspace

To create a new Workspace, first open the Workspace you’d like to upgrade. Then:

1. Click the Workspaces dropdown menu
2. Click Create Workspace
3. Give your Workspace a name
4. Click Create your Workspace
5. Click the For freelancers & agencies tab to review those Workspace plans
6. Click Add Workspace under the desired Workspace plan — for Starter, skip the remaining steps
7. Click Switch to monthly or Switch to yearly to change your billing frequency
8. Click the plus icon to add Full or Limited seats for team members (you can add or remove seats anytime)
9. Click Confirm plan
10. Add your payment information if prompted
11. Click Add promo code to enter a promo code if you have one
12. Click Pay now if you selected a paid plan

After you’ve created your new Workspace, you’ll be taken to the Dashboard of your new Workspace.
