Upgrade your Site plan

Updated

Upgrade to a paid Site plan to unlock additional features and functionality.

When you create a site, you’ll start out with the free Starter Site plan by default, which provides basic features to help you get started in Webflow. To add additional features and functionality you’ll need to upgrade to a paid Site plan. Check out our guide to choosing a Site plan if you aren’t sure which plan is right for you.

Considerations before upgrading your Site plan

If you current Site plan has add-ons and you want to upgrade to an Ecommerce Site plan, you’ll have to remove the add-ons first. Ecommerce Site plans do not support add-ons.

Some promo codes are only valid for certain plans and/or billing frequencies. Make sure to select the correct plan and billing frequency at checkout to ensure the promo code applies.

Before you confirm the Site plan purchase, please make sure:

  • You are adding the correct Site plan to the correct site
  • You have selected the appropriate billing frequency (yearly or monthly)
  • You have entered a promo code if you have one
  • The correct amount is being charged
  • The correct credit card is being charged

How to upgrade your site’s current Site plan

Good to know

The Basic plan doesn't support CMS features, so it won't be available to purchase if you're site has CMS features. If you no longer need CMS features, you can remove the CMS features to purchase the Basic Site plan.

To upgrade your site plan:

  1. Hover over the site to be upgraded and click the Site settings icon
  2. Click Plans in the left Site settings panel
  3. Toggle Billed monthly or Billed yearly — yearly pricing lets you pay upfront for a full year at a discounted rate
  4. Choose the Site plan you want
  5. (Optional) Add a promo code if you have one
  6. Click Pay now to immediately charge your card on file

Note

Webflow prorates plan changes (i.e., upgrades, downgrades, or billing frequency switches) based on your existing balance, credits, and how many days you have remaining in your billing cycle. Your prorated charge and credits appear at checkout. Learn more about proration and refunds.
