Streamline workflows between agencies, freelancers, and their clients with the Agency or Freelancer guest role.
With the guest role, clients (hosts) keep ownership of their Workspace while securely inviting a guest (i.e., an agency or freelancer) to collaborate for free. No need to share passwords or transfer sites back and forth –– agencies and freelancers can just join a host’s Workspace as a guest. Guests will receive access to sites in their host’s Workspace but won’t be able to access confidential Workspace settings.

How guest role works
Freelancers and agencies can request guest access on behalf of their entire Workspace, so their entire team can access client projects. To use the guest role, the client must have a Workspace and the guest must have an Agency or Freelancer Workspace plan. Types of hosts who might want to invite a guest into their Workspace include:
A small business working with a freelancer
A large business working with an agency
An agency inviting a contractor
After a guest joins a host Workspace they can also bring in other members of their team to collaborate on the host’s sites. For example, if a client hires an agency with 4 developers, the agency can join the client’s workspace as a guest, then bring all 4 developers into the client’s Workspace to help build the client’s site
Note
Guest Workspace admins can invite up to 5 guest team members into the host’s Workspace if the host has a self-serve Workspace plan. They can invite up to 10 guest team members if the host has an Enterprise Workspace plan.
Guests can access:
Workspace sites to which the host has given them access
2 Workspace settings: App & Integrations and Libraries & Templates
The Guests tab, where the guest can view and update their own guest team members but not other guests or members of the host’s Workspace
The Legacy Editor
Guests can’t access:
All other Workspace settings (General, Team, Plans, Billing, and Partner Settings)
