Updated
Requirements

Create campaigns, edit and personalize pages, and review results from your connected AI tool.

Use the Webflow MCP server to manage Campaigns from AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT. Describe what you want in plain language — create a campaign, edit and personalize pages for an audience, or check how it's performing — and your AI tool handles the steps for you.

Before you get started

You need access to Campaigns and an AI tool connected to the Webflow MCP server. Your AI tool follows your Webflow role and permissions. Learn how to connect your AI tool.

Create a campaign with your AI tool

Your AI tool needs a confirmed brief before it can create a campaign. To create a campaign:

  1. Ask your AI tool to list your campaign hubs
  2. Choose the hub for your campaign
  3. Describe your campaign, including your goal and audience
  4. Review the brief your AI tool writes, and ask for changes until it looks right
  5. Confirm the brief so your AI tool can start creating the campaign
  6. Ask your AI tool to check the status until the campaign is ready

Good to know

Campaign generation takes a little while. Your AI tool checks the status for you, and that's the only way to know generation has finished.

Example prompts

Try these prompts to get started. Replace the details with your own.

  • "Show me all the campaigns in my campaign hub."
  • "Create a campaign for our fall product launch aimed at marketing leaders."
  • "Suggest page variations for my fall launch campaign."

  • "Personalize the homepage headline for the healthcare variation."
  • "How many sessions did my fall launch campaign get over the last 30 days?"
  • "Which accounts are engaging with this campaign?"

Current limitations

  • Updating a campaign's brief doesn't regenerate or republish its pages
  • You can only delete a campaign in certain states
  • You can't delete a published page variation
  • You can rename a personalized field, but you can't change its type
  • You can't create or manage ads with the Webflow MCP server. Use Campaigns instead.
  • You can't extract a brand with the Webflow MCP server. This only works in Campaigns.
  • Some tasks, like publishing, still happen in Campaigns
