Learn how to connect Gemini to your Webflow sites and Workspaces.
You can connect Gemini to Webflow via the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and use it to manage, update, and create site content using natural-language prompts. For example, ask Gemini to audit your site for broken links and accessibility issues, or to draft a new post in your Blog Collection and publish it to your live site.
Before you get started
To connect Gemini to Webflow, you'll need:
- A personal Google account — the Webflow connector isn't available for work or school accounts yet
- To be 18 or over and based in the US — Google only offers the Webflow connector in the US, in English, for now
-
Keep Activity turned on in Gemini — connected apps don't work in Gemini when this setting is off
- Any site role except Reviewer — the MCP server respects each user's existing role permissions
Set up the Webflow connector in Gemini
To connect Gemini to your sites and Workspaces using the Webflow connector:
- Open Gemini in your browser
- Click the Settings icon next to your account name
- Click Connected Apps
- Under Other, turn on the Webflow toggle
- Click Connect
- Click Agree and continue
- In the tab that opens, check I recognize and trust this URL
- Click Continue
- Choose the sites and/or Workspaces you want to give Gemini access to
- Click Authorize App
The tab closes when you're done, and Webflow is ready to use in Gemini.
Once connected, start a prompt with @Webflow and select Webflow from the list so Gemini knows to use the connector.
Pro tip
You can also connect from a chat — type @Webflow, or ask Gemini to do something with your Webflow site, and it'll prompt you to connect.
To disconnect Webflow, go to Settings > Connected Apps, click Learn more on the Webflow card, then click Unlink.
Using the Webflow connector in Gemini doesn't require AI credits.
