Optimizations that you create are saved to the Insights tab. In order to edit the optimization (e.g., add new variations or adjust the optimization's settings), you'll need to open the optimization in edit mode.
How open an optimization in edit mode
Good to know
These steps won't work for traditional test optimizations that have gone live, as you shouldn't edit those.
Open the site in Webflow, then:
- Go to the Insights tab
- Click All optimizations
- Choose the optimization for which you want to change the goal
- Mouse over an existing variation
- Click the Edit icon to the right of the variation name
Now you can add or edit variations, or adjust your optimization's settings.
How to access the optimization's settings
While the optimization is in edit mode:
- Click the Optimizations dropdown in the top bar
- Click Settings & goals
These settings vary based on the optimization type. For example, a manual personalization will have the option to manage audiences and variations, while a traditional test draft will have the option to set traffic allocation.
