Use Slack prompts to manage your sites, surface insights, and take action.
Connect your Webflow site to Slack to manage your website directly in Slack. Use prompts to create and publish content, run SEO updates, and get answers about your sites — without breaking the flow of your work. For example, if a new blog post idea comes up while chatting in a Slack, you can ask Slackbot to take action right there, and have it live before the conversation moves on.
This integration offers two ways to work with your sites:
-
DM Slackbot — privately message Slackbot to query and act on your sites
-
DM the Webflow agent — privately message the Webflow agent to query and act on your sites
-
@Webflow in a channel or thread — query and act on your sites so your whole team can follow along, contribute, and act together
Both experiences are powered by Webflow's MCP server and support the same Webflow capabilities.

Manage permissions
You can control what Slackbot can read and write to using the settings from Slack:

- Click Manage apps
- For Webflow, click Manage
- Set your desired permissions for what can read and write in the approved sites
- Click Save
Turn the integration on or off

DM Slackbot or the Webflow agent
You can start a DM with Slackbot or the Webflow agent to get work done individually. Open a direct message with Slackbot or the Webflow agent and describe what you need in plain language. Slackbot / the Webflow agent interprets your request, routes it to the right Webflow tools, and carries the work through to an outcome.
A few things you can try:
-
Manage and publish CMS content — create, update, and publish CMS content directly from Slack
-
Run SEO updates — update meta titles and audit content across your site
-
Get answers about Webflow — ask how to do something in Webflow and get an instant answer without searching documentation

Tag @Webflow in a channel or thread
When you're working with your team, you can bring @Webflow into any channel or thread. The agent reads the thread for context before acting — so it already understands what's being discussed and you don't have to re-explain.
For example, if your team is reviewing a product launch page and someone notices the pricing section is out of date, you can ask @Webflow to update the pricing, refresh the supporting copy, and stage the changes for review. The agent makes the edits in Webflow and drops a review link directly into the thread so the team can approve before publishing.
Teammates can see the interaction, follow along, and build on it in real time — keeping work moving without anyone switching tools.
