Learn how to clear site-specific data in different browsers to troubleshoot issues in Webflow.
Clearing browser data (like cookies and cache) for a specific site is a helpful troubleshooting step that can resolve loading issues, login errors, or unexpected behavior. Here’s how to clear site-specific data in major browsers.
Chrome
- Go to Settings (from the three dots menu) > Privacy and security > Site settings
- Click View permissions and data stored across sites
- Find the site you want to clear (you can use the search bar)
- Expand the site entry and click the “trash” icon
Pro tip
You can also go directly to all sites by entering chrome://settings/content/all
in the address bar.
Firefox
- Go to Firefox menu (hamburger menu) > Settings
- Click Privacy & Security
- Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Data…
- Search for the site and click Remove Selected, then Save Changes
Safari
- Go to Safari > Settings
- Go to the Privacy tab
- Click Manage Website Data…
- Search for the website and click Remove
Microsoft Edge
- Go to Settings (from the three dot menu) > Cookies and site permissions
- Click Cookies and site data
- Click See all cookies and site data
- Search for the site and click the “trash” icon

in the address bar.
IE (Internet Explorer) 11

- Open the site in Internet Explorer
- Press F12 to open Developer Tools
- Go to the Network tab and click Clear cache (or press Ctrl + R)
- For cookies — go to Cache > Clear cookies for domain
