Invite teammates to work in the legacy Editor

Updated

Invite teammates to edit site content in the legacy Editor.

Good to know

The legacy Editor is being deprecated and will no longer be available by the end of 2025. In its place, we're transitioning to the edit mode — a newer content editing experience that enables more collaboration and features directly within Webflow’s core platform. As part of this transition, legacy Editor users will be replaced by seats and whitelabeling will no longer be available. You can review our FAQ to learn more.

The legacy Editor is a simplified interface that lets teammates update and add content to a site. Unlike Design mode, which lets you build and design your website, the legacy Editor only allows the content to be edited (e.g., edit text or replace an image).

Which plans support legacy Editors?

  • Supported Site plans — CMS and Ecommerce site plans include three legacy Editors, while Business, Ecommerce Plus, or Advanced plans include 10 legacy Editors — additional users may be added for $6 per month, per person
  • Supported Workflow plans — Core, Growth, or Enterprise plans allow all Workspace members to access the legacy Editor on any website within your Workspace
