Eligibility
Who should apply?
The Webflow affiliate program is designed for influencers, educators, bloggers, businesses, and others with a digital audience.
As a Webflow affiliate, you can earn commissions for brand new Webflow users that use your referral link to sign up and purchase their first eligible subscription plan.
Affiliates are paid a 50% revenue-share commission on a qualified new user’s first subscription for up to 12 months of an active monthly plan or a single annual plan purchase.
Please note that the affiliate program does not provide commissions for client referrals. Partners interested in earning commissions for client referrals can instead apply for the Webflow Certified Partner Program. Affiliates can’t participate in both programs, and direct client referrals are not eligible for commissions or rewards through the affiliate program.
Do I have to be a Webflow customer?
We don’t require Webflow affiliates to purchase our products or subscriptions, although being familiar with and knowledgeable of our platform is beneficial.
If you decide to purchase a Webflow plan, we require that you do not use your own affiliate link. It is a violation of the program for an affiliate to receive commission for their own purchase or that of someone else at their organization.
How do I apply?
If you have not already done so, you need to complete an application to the affiliate program.
After receiving your application, we will review your responses and notify you of your acceptance or rejection into the affiliate program. We reserve the right to reject any application, but we encourage you to contact us if you feel we have made an incorrect decision. Including all of the websites and strategies that you will use as a member of the affiliate program will help us make a better decision.
We’re usually able to review applications within 10 business days. If we do not notify you that you are accepted to participate in the affiliate program within 30 days from your application, your application is considered to be rejected.
Your acceptance and participation in the affiliate program does not mean that you will be accepted into any of our Webflow Partner Programs, including our Certified Partner Program. In order to participate in these other programs, you'll need to apply through and be accepted via the appropriate channels.
How do I earn?
- For purchase commissions, you will receive commission for the first qualified subscription made by a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us at the time of the affiliate link click. Site plans and Workspace plans are the only purchases eligible for commission.
- The customer needs to be an active customer for the locking period in the affiliate platform.
- A customer purchase must be: (i) a new potential customer of ours, and (ii) not at the time of submission one of our pre-existing customers or involved in our active sales process.
- Affiliate links may rely on cookies to track referrals. Therefore if cookies get cleared, we may not be able to track these events and you will not be guaranteed a commission.
- Cookie windows and commission rates are stated in the Affiliate Tool.
- Only affiliate links can be used to track referrals. Incorrect use of affiliate links will cause inability to track referrals.
- You cannot use affiliate links to refer clients you are servicing. If you wish to receive commissions for client work, you can apply to join the Certified Partner Program. As a Webflow affiliate, you also can't be a billing contact or user of the account referred.
- Fraudulent or stolen attribution is a non payable event. If we suspect fraud (for example, if we see that signups are all from the same city or IP address) we may require you to prove that the referrals are valid.
There are a number of other limitations that may result in commission not being paid - we encourage you to read the Affiliate Program Terms for more information.
Commission
What is the affiliate commission?
Affiliates earn 50% commission on the first paid Site plan or Workspace plan subscription. Payouts are based on the chosen payment plan. For monthly plans, commissions will be generated for the lesser of 12 months from the user’s account creation date or the cancellation date of that plan. For annual plans, a commission will be generated for their first annual plan at the date of purchase.
All transactions and commissions will be reviewed by Webflow. Any indication of fraud or program term violations will be investigated and may lead to suspension or removal from the program.
These violations include, but are not limited to:
- indications of internal transaction fraud
- bidding on brand search terms
- fraudulent redirects to the Webflow site
- misleading or broken sites or channels
- referring clients for affiliate bonuses
- submitting self-purchases for commissions
How do I get paid?
To get paid as an affiliate, you’ll need to have a PayPal or Stripe account.
Enter the email associated with your PayPal or Stripe account in the payment settings of your affiliate account. You’ll receive commission payments by the 15th of each month following approval of a purchase.
If you didn’t receive a payment that you believe you should have, please contact Webflow through the Affiliate Tool.
What purchases do I earn commissions for?
You will receive commission for the first qualified subscription made by a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us at the time of the affiliate link click.
You may receive affiliate commissions (as outlined in the affiliate dashboard) only for otherwise eligible paid subscriptions to the following plans:
- Site Plans (other than Enterprise)
- Workspace Plans
These subscriptions, whether the customer opts for a monthly or annual plan, are eligible for commission.
For the avoidance of doubt, affiliate commissions are not available for subscriptions to the following plans and services:
- Enterprise Site plans
- Enterprise account plans
- Templates and cloneables
- Add-On products, like Optimize or Localization
- Additional seats or bandwidth
- Apps
General program information
How do I get started?
You can apply to join the Webflow affiliate program by visiting our Affiliates page.
If you’re approved into the Webflow Affiliate program, you’ll be able to log into your affiliate dashboard using the Affiliate Tool. The affiliate dashboard is where you can find information about your affiliate referral link, the traffic and conversions you’re generating through your affiliate referral link, and the payments you’ve received through the affiliate program.
This is also where you’ll receive important communications regarding the program from our affiliate support team.
You should also ensure that your information on file with us, including your email address, is complete, accurate and up-to-date at all times. We may send communications to the email address associated with your account. You will be deemed to have received all notifications, approvals, and other communications sent to that email address, even if the email address associated with your account is no longer current.
What is an affiliate referral link and how do lead submissions work?
Once you’ve logged into your affiliate dashboard, you’ll be able to find your affiliate referral links. These links are unique to your affiliate account and direct people to the destination you’ve chosen. If someone visits Webflow using your link and hasn’t visited before, they’ll be tagged as "referred by you." This tag will last for a designated number of days (i.e., the cookie window), which is communicated in the affiliate dashboard.
Other things to know about the referral link and leads submitted by affiliates:
- You will only use the linking code we provide without manipulation.
- If someone does not use your approved affiliate link(s) to sign up for a Webflow subscription, you will not receive the commission.
- All domains that use your affiliate link must be listed in your affiliate profile and shared with Webflow.
- We may choose not to accept a purchase submitted by an affiliate in our reasonable discretion.
- A lead submitted by an affiliate is not considered valid if their first click on the affiliate referral link is after the program agreement has expired or terminated.
- Once we have received the lead information, we may elect to engage with the prospect directly, regardless of whether or not the lead is valid. If a lead is not valid then we may choose to maintain it in our database and we may choose to engage with them. Any engagement between Webflow and an affiliate lead will be at Webflow’s discretion.
What is the cookie window?
Your affiliate referral link has a tracking cookie that lasts for a set number of days to allow you to get “credit” when someone uses your link to sign up for Webflow and make a subscription purchase.
Any person who clicks on your affiliate link who hasn’t previously visited Webflow will be tagged as "referred by you" with this tracking cookie. If they make an eligible subscription purchase within a designated days after being tagged, you’ll be eligible to receive a commission for their first subscription purchase. If someone does not purchase an eligible subscription within the designated cookie window, you will not be eligible for a commission payment, even if they decide to purchase after the time period has expired.

Affiliate Tiers
What are affiliate tiers?
Affiliate tiers are used to distinguish the performance of members in the Affiliate program. Currently, there are two different elevated tiers that Webflow affiliates can achieve:
- Pro Affiliate
- Premium Affiliate
Are there any stipulations for affiliate tiers?
- Affiliates who are not responsive to communication from the Affiliate Management team are not eligible for tier upgrades
- Program violations can result in affiliates being moved back down from tiers
- Only Pro and Premium affiliates are eligible to receive challenge rewards and performance bonuses
How can you move between tiers?
Tiers are unlocked based on the number of qualified paid customers you generate within a given program year and your overall performance.
The number of paid customers an affiliate has generated are tracked within the affiliate dashboard in Partnerstack.
You’e also required to be in good standing within the program, with no violations of the program terms and rules within the given program year. This includes brand bidding, brand impersonations, and client referrals.
When you’re first accepted into the Affiliate Program, you’ll start by completing your onboarding steps. Once you’ve onboarded, you’ll be eligible to start earning toward elevating your tier status. If you’ve accumulated enough paid customers, you’ll work with the Webflow Affiliate Management team to confirm any other requirements (examples: verification of all websites and accounts, verification of contact information).
From the Pro tier, you can continue earning points to become a Premium affiliate. Premium affiliates unlock additional benefits, such as co-marketing opportunities with Webflow.
What is the difference between the tiers?
Your tier is primarily based on the number of qualified paid customers you generate within a given program year and your overall performance.
Base tier:
All Webflow affiliates start at the base tier, where they begin earning after completing onboarding.
At this level, you earn our competitive Base commission rewards – a 50% revenue share for any brand new qualifying customer that makes an eligible subscription purchase within 90 days of clicking your affiliate link.
Pro tier:
In each calendar year, Pro Affiliates will need to generate 25 new customers who purchase an eligible subscription. They also have completed onboarding, verified ownership of their website and/or digital accounts, and have no violations of the program terms and guidelines.
In addition to the Base commission, the Pro tier earns 10% revenue share for up to 12 months after a qualifying new customer renews or purchases a new subscription after their first consecutive 12 months as a Webflow customer.
Premium tier:
In each calendar year, Premium Affiliates will need to generate 100 new customers who purchase an eligible subscription. They also have completed onboarding, verified ownership of their website and/or digital accounts, and have no violations of the program terms and guidelines.
In addition to the Base commission, the Premium tier earns 15% revenue share for up to 12 months after a qualifying new customer renews or purchases a new subscription after their first consecutive 12 months as a Webflow customer.
Where can I see how much progress I’ve made toward upgrading my tier?
You can access your current progress toward tiers and benefits by logging into Partnerstack. All your performance metrics and other details about your enrollment in the Affiliate Program are available there.
Any questions or concerns can be sent to the Webflow Affiliate Team using the Support portal.
Promotion
What do I call myself as part of the program?
As we have multiple programs that allow you to work with Webflow, here are some guidelines around what language to use to reference your participation in the Webflow Affiliate Program.
You can refer to yourself as a “Webflow Affiliate" or “Affiliate Marketer”, but you should not call yourself a Partner or say that you’ve “partnered with Webflow.” This includes your website, newsletter, emails, social media, podcasts, videos, and any other marketing material, whether online or offline.
What are approved affiliate strategies?
There are different ways you can drive traffic through your affiliate link, and we encourage you to get creative. Our affiliate management team provides regular guidance regarding best practices and ideas, and we encourage you to take advantage of these resources to learn and grow as a Webflow affiliate.
Our affiliates today use a variety of the following strategies:
- Educational videos
- Blogs
- Online courses
- Podcasts and livestreams
- Workshops and conferences
- Social media
- Email newsletters
- Product reviews, walkthroughs, and how-to’s
- Templates and cloneables
- UI/UX/Component kits
- Vlogs and short videos (ex: Reels, TikToks, etc)
- Microsites
Content on your website or other digital accounts and properties must be recent (generally within the last 60 days). You must own your website and other accounts.
Before creating content, please carefully review the program terms to ensure you’re maintaining compliance when it comes to your content and promotion.
This includes the following limitations. All members of the affiliate program are not allowed to:
- Claim to be an agent of Webflow, or make any representation or promise on behalf of our company.
- Offer any financial or similar incentive as you promote our products.
- Engage in deceptive, misleading, or unethical practices that could damage Webflow’s reputation.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Display content that is offensive as part of your participation in the program, including but not limited to blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity or post any obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable content.
- Post any content that holds Webflow open to public scorn or ridicule.
- Sell, promote, or advertise in any manner that is unlawful in the location at which the content is posted or received.
As a member of the Webflow affiliate program, you may be asked to share specific details or evidence regarding your promotional strategy or activity. If you don’t respond or provide the requested information within the allotted time, your account will be suspended or removed from the program at our team’s discretion.
For full details, please review the program terms.
What are the policies and restrictions for social media use?
Promotion on TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook (including open group pages and fan pages; excluding personal pages and private groups), Twitter/X, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, and Twitch is permitted following these general guidelines:
- You are not permitted to use private or closed social media accounts as part of your affiliate strategy, as this impedes our team’s ability to help provide guidance and oversight.
- You are allowed to promote offers to your own lists; more specifically, you're welcome to use your affiliate links on your own social media pages. For example: you may post, "25% off Site Plan at www.webflow.com/affiliate123."
- You are prohibited from posting your affiliate links on Webflow's social media company pages in an attempt to turn those links into affiliate sales.
- You agree not to publish or distribute the link, or cause the link to be published or distributed, on or via methods, platforms and media where you have no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the readers or recipients are your personal friends (such as coupon websites, Wikipedia, etc.).
- It is prohibited to use Webflow's trademarks as your social media profile picture or wallpaper or use any of Webflow’s copyright-protected works (such as graphics, photos, images, drawings, and screenshots from Webflow’s website or social media profiles) without Webflow’s express written permission.
- When you choose to publish an affiliate link on any third-party site such as TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc. you agree you comply with all applicable policies, terms and procedures of the applicable third-party site as it relates to your use of such site.
What are the policies and restrictions for email campaigns?
If you intend to promote our affiliate program via email campaigns, you must adhere to the following:
- Abide by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (Public Law No. 108-187) with respect to our affiliate program.
- E-mail must be sent on your behalf and must not imply that the e-mail is being sent on behalf of Webflow.
- E-mails must first be submitted to us for approval prior to being sent or we must be sent a copy of the e-mail.
What are the policies and restrictions for advertising and PPC?
Anyone running paid advertisements as part of the affiliate program must avoid the following program violations:
- Bidding on brand search terms (sample list below).
- Fraudulent redirects to any page on a Webflow-owned domain (e.g., using redirects to bounce a click off of a domain from which the click did not originate in order to give the appearance that it came from that domain).
- Misleading or broken content, sites or channels.
- Display content that is offensive, including but not limited to blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity or post any obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable content.
Here are examples of the brand terms that should be added to your negative keyword list:
- webflow
- webflow+
- flowweb
- web flow
- webflow plan
- webflowuniversity
- webflows
- webflow cms
- webflowy
It is your responsibility as a member of our affiliate program to monitor your campaigns and ensure that these comply with all rules and policies.
What are penalties for violating program terms and restrictions?
Based on our team’s judgment, first-time policy violators will receive a warning and be notified to remove violating content, such as PPC ads. Affiliate accounts are suspended until an internal investigation is conducted and confirms the violation has been corrected. During the suspension, no commissions will be earned. Failure to respond or correct violations in the designated timeframe will result in long-term program suspension or complete program removal.
Second-time policy violators will receive a warning and be notified to remove violating content, but they will also be suspended for the remainder of the calendar month. During this time, affiliates are unable to earn commissions and will lose pending commissions. They will also not be able to earn rewards, participate in challenges, move up in tiers, or enjoy other benefits of the affiliate program.
Any violation, even the first, could be grounds for removal from the program.
Affiliates may be asked to share screenshots or other evidence and proof of their advertising strategy at any time. All advertisements will be reviewed by the Webflow team, and Webflow reserves the right to remove any offending account at any time without notice based on the company’s discretion.
Webflow reserves the right to remove anyone from the program at any time without notice for lack of transparency about promotional or paid advertising activities or suspected impersonation of the Webflow brand.
Program guidelines
FTC guidelines
As a Webflow affiliate, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires that you inform your audience you’re using affiliate links. You can make the disclosure within the content itself, or you can provide a link to your audience where they can read a full disclosure.
You must include a disclosure statement within any and all pages/posts where affiliate links for our affiliate program are posted as an endorsement or review, and where it is not clear that the link is a paid advertisement. This disclosure statement should be clear and concise, stating that we are compensating you for your review or endorsement.
If you received a product for free from us or from the affiliate management team for review, this also must be clearly stated in your disclosure.
Important
Please ensure you review the FTC guidelines regarding affiliate links.
Brand guidelines
When you’re an affiliate and/or are using Webflow brand assets, you agree to adhere to all Webflow trademarks and copyrights. If you’re found to be in violation of any of these, you’ll lose your privilege of using our brand assets.
If you plan to promote Webflow in your content, you must use the creative assets provided by Webflow, follow the design guidelines, and use Webflow’s voice and tone.
Check out the Webflow brand guide for more guidance.
You shouldn’t attempt to reproduce Webflow’s visual style or misrepresent yourself as a direct agent of our company, but you should make use of our brand assets and voice. Your website should not in any way copy, resemble, or mirror the look and feel of our website. You will also not use any means to create the impression that your website is our website or any part of our website including, without limitation, framing of our website in any manner.
You may also not represent yourself as an agent or employee of Webflow or represent that you have the authority to conduct business on our behalf, including contracting.
Communication policies
We reserve the right to reverse orders in our sole discretion, including due to order cancellations, duplicate tracking, returns, disputed charges, and affiliate program violations as outlined in these Affiliate Terms.
Additionally, if we ask you for clarification or more information on any orders or clicks that we suspect may be in violation of our Affiliate Terms, we expect that you will respond in a timely and honest manner. Below are violations of our communications policy.
- You are not forthcoming, intentionally vague or are found to be lying.
- You are not responsive within a reasonable time period and after multiple attempts to contact with information listed in your network profile.
- You cannot substantiate or validate the source of your traffic to our Affiliate Program with clear and demonstrable proof.
- You do not provide accurate, up-to-date contact information, including email address and/or phone number, to receive important announcements and information from the Webflow affiliate team.
If any of the above apply, then we reserve the absolute right to reverse orders, withhold commission and remove you from the affiliate program at any time. We know that many violations are a result of automated processes; however, it is incumbent upon each affiliate to ensure that it has the appropriate checks and balances in place to proactively address these issues and adhere to our affiliate program rules.
