View and update your payment card

Updated

Manage the card on file for your Workspace.

Before you get started

These steps require being logged in to your Webflow account. If you can't log in, use the Account Recovery Helper.

When you first subscribe to any paid Webflow Workspace or Site plan, you're asked to provide a payment method to complete your purchase. This card is saved in Workspace settings > Billing and used for all future payments for subscriptions within your Workspace — including any paid Workspace plans and paid Site plans added to sites in your Dashboard. Each Workspace has one card on file (i.e., each Workspace may have a different card).

Billing details are only available to the Workspace owner, Workspace admins, or site managers.

How to view the active payment card in your Workspace

You can view the active payment card on file from your account. This card is used for all Workspace and Site plan purchases.

To view your Workspace's active payment card:

  1. Open your Dashboard
  2. Check that you are in the correct Workspace
  3. Click Billing in the left sidebar
  4. Scroll to the Payment method section

How to change or update your payment card

You can change or update your payment card whenever you would like. If your credit card on file has expired, you'll encounter a reminder to update your card details to continue your plan subscriptions without interruption.

To update your credit card on file:

  1. Go to Workspace settings > Billing > Payment method
  2. Click Update payment method
  3. Update your card details
  4. Click Save

If a paid Site plan has been added to a site, you can also update your Workspace's active card via Site settings > Plans > Payment method. Updating the card from Site settings updates the card for the entire Workspace, which affects paid Workspace plans and all paid Site plans.

Supported payment types

Webflow accepts payment from almost any major credit or debit card, including:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • Diners Club

If you're a debit cardholder outside of the United States, you may need to check with your bank to determine whether international auto-debit (especially for recurring payments) is allowed for your particular card.

How to remove the payment card on file

Important

You can't remove the active card on file if you have any active Site or Workspace plans. You'll need to cancel all paid Site and/or Workspace plans before removing the card on file. Note that when you cancel your plan(s), you can immediately remove your card on file even during the pending cancelation period.

To remove your Workspace's card on file:

  1. Go to Workspace settings > Billing > Payment method
  2. Click Remove payment method

Your card will be removed immediately.
