Manage add-ons

Updated

Extend your site's capabilities and limits with optional add-ons for your Site plan.

Add-ons are optional upgrades you can purchase on top of your Site plan. They let you increase limits or unlock features beyond what your base plan includes — so you can scale your site without changing plans entirely.

How to purchase add-ons

Important

Add-ons are not available for sites on a Starter or Ecommerce Site plan. The Bandwidth add-on can only be added to sites with a Premium Site plan (or legacy Business Site plan).

You can only purchase an add-on you haven't already purchased for your site. For example, if you already purchased 50GB of bandwidth and want an additional 50GB, you should choose the 100GB option when purchasing your new bandwidth add-on.

Billing cycles for add-ons are determined by the billing cycle of your Site plan (e.g., if your Site plan has a monthly billing cycle, your add-on will also be billed monthly).

Manage locales for your Localization add-on

Localization add-ons are charged per locale.

Add locales to a Localization add-on

The number of locales you're able to add depends on your existing Localization add-on (i.e., Essential or Advanced), so you may need to upgrade your Localization add-on before purchasing additional locales.

To add additional locales to a Localization add-on:

  1. Go to Site settings > Plans > Add-ons tab
  2. Click Manage under Localization
  3. Click Manage locales under your current Localization add-on
  4. Use the Locales dropdown to choose the total number of locales you want on your site
  5. Click Pay now to immediately charge the card on file

Remove locales from a Localization add-on

You may wish to decrease the number of locales on your site and remove those locales from your add-on. The number of locales you're able to add depends on your Localization add-on (i.e., Essential or Advanced), so you may also wish to downgrade your Localization add-on after removing locales.

Important

Secondary locales must be removed from your site in the Designer before they can be removed from the Localization add-on. To remove secondary locales from your site, go to Settings panel > Localization, click the locale(s) you want to remove, and click the Trash icon.

  2. Click Manage under Localization
  3. Click Manage locales under your current Localization add-on (i.e., Essential or Advanced)
  4. Use the Locales dropdown to choose the total number of locales you want on your site
