Distribute templates outside the Webflow Marketplace.
Template fulfillment links are URLs that allow the visitor to install a template in their Workspace without going through the normal Webflow checkout process. These links are designed to fulfill template orders from outside the Webflow Marketplace, giving template creators full flexibility to sell their templates anywhere on the internet.
How to use template fulfillment links
Template fulfillment links are available in your Webflow Dashboard > Marketplace tab > Templates. For each published template in the Webflow Marketplace, template designers can:
- Generate fulfillment links — when customers purchase your template outside the Webflow Marketplace, you’ll provide them with this link, which allows them to install your template
- Archive links — this deactivates the fulfillment link for the selected template
- Regenerate links — this simultaneously creates a new link for the selected template and archives the previous link
Each fulfillment link includes a used count, which shows how many times the active link has been used to create a new site. Each time you create a new fulfillment link (including regenerating links), the used count resets to 0. This helps you track potential link sharing and supports keeping templates secure.
Important
Template fulfillment links will only be available for templates that are published in the Webflow Marketplace.
Example use cases
- Sell templates on your personal website — build out a library of templates on your site and share fulfillment links when visitors complete a purchase
- Sell templates on other marketplaces — list your Webflow templates on any third-party marketplace, such as Gumroad, LemonSqueezy, and more
- Deliver templates to your clients — give your clients template fulfillment links as part of your service offering, such as bundling your template with custom development work
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my template fulfillment link is being shared without payment?
We recommend that you periodically check your sale records against the used count next to your fulfillment links. If you see a used count far higher than the sales you’ve recorded, it may be time to regenerate your link. Remember that regenerating a link will invalidate the previous link, so you’ll also need to update your fulfillment workflows for that template.
On which marketplaces can I sell my template fulfillment links?
You can use your template fulfillment links to sell your Webflow templates on any marketplace that supports selling digital products. When you’re creating your listing on these marketplaces, simply set your fulfillment link as the item that the customer receives when they finish their purchase. They can then visit this link to install your template.
Can I use this feature for sites that aren’t published in the template marketplace?
At this time, template fulfillment links are only available for templates published in the Webflow Marketplace. We may extend this to other Webflow sites in the future.
