Salesforce opportunity metrics in Optimize

Configure your Salesforce integration to enable pipeline, closed won, stage, and amount metrics.

You can turn on Salesforce metrics in Optimize to connect your optimizations to pipeline and revenue impact. When enabled, the Your impact card on the Optimize overview page shows influenced pipeline and closed won revenue. You’ll also see stage and amount data in the Account engagement table — mapping visitors to their deal stage and value from Salesforce.

Choose a connection path for Opportunity data

Optimize requires a mapped link between visitors and Salesforce opportunity records. After you integrate with Salesforce, you can enable this mapping in two ways — leads provide individual-level data, while accounts give you account-level data.

  • Leads → Opportunities — visitors must arrive through outbound links associated with synced lead records. Once mapped, those leads can connect to converted opportunities.
  • Accounts → Opportunities — you must sync account records, which Optimize maps to visitors using domain-based firmographic data. Opportunities tied to those accounts can then be matched.

Sync opportunity fields

To unlock full opportunity-based reporting, make sure you sync the Stage, Amount, and Closed Salesforce fields in your integration settings.

Review your impact

Note

Data begins recording after you correctly configure the integration. Results prior to this point are not available.

Pipeline and closed won influence

From the Optimize overview page, review the Your impact card. Results include visitors that have engaged with your optimizations or landing pages who have been mapped back to Salesforce-related metrics.

  • Pipeline Influenced — total value of open opportunities that viewed a variation or landing page during the date range
  • Closed Won Influenced — total value of opportunities that viewed a variation or landing page while open, and are now marked as closed won in Salesforce

Current stage and amount

The account engagement table is available on the Optimize overview page and the optimization results page. This table is powered by enhanced match and optional integrations with 6sense or Demandbase.

These metrics can be enabled in the Columns menu after you've correctly configured the Salesforce integration:

  • Stage — the current Salesforce Opportunity Stage value
  • Amount — the most up-to-date deal amount

Note

The Opportunity Stage value is the value at the time metrics were recorded — not the current Salesforce value.
