How to Migrate from WordPress to Webflow

While migrating from WordPress to Webflow involves several steps, our resources are designed to make the process as smooth and manageable as possible.

Export Wordpress content

Before you get started, we recommend reading how to import Collection content to review the supported data types and limitations for CSV import.

By default, WordPress exports your content in XML format. Once you’ve exported your content in an XML format, you can use an XML to CSV converter to convert your content to a CSV file.

Import your CSV into Webflow

If you don't already have a Webflow site, create a new one. Then, you can import your CSV into your Webflow site:

  1. Open the Collections panel
  2. Create a new Collection
  3. Import your CSV into the Collection
  4. Map the fields from the CSV to fields in your Collection (or create new fields)

We recommend you check your Site plan’s Collection item limits to determine how many Collection items you can import.
