Account engagement gives you insights about your visitors by removing some anonymity of who engages with your website.

About the accounts table

Our built-in Enhanced Match can associate visitors with their company, letting you see which companies are visiting and engaging with your site. If you also integrate 6sense or Demandbase, data from those services is incorporated to give you the best match rate possible.

  • Displays up to 1,000 results
  • Results span the selected date range
  • If no matches are found, you can expand the date range to see more results

Only high-probability matches are displayed

Not every visitor will be associated with a company, as the matching is done based on the visitor's IP address.

  • Matches with low confidence of accuracy aren't displayed
  • A visitor's IP address may not be associated with a company
  • If a visitor is on a VPN or on a public internet connection, a match is unlikely

How conversions are counted

If a matching visitor completes an action associated with your optimization's goal, a conversion is counted. Each visitor associated with a company has their results added to their company's metrics.

About the contacts table

The Contacts tab displays individual-level data. This level of data is matched when visitors click a Salesforce outbound link that you've created and sent to them. When a visitor clicks your outbound link, the system matches the visitor to the individual to which you sent the email. You can target and report on that visitor’s engagement using any Salesforce data you have associated with the individual.
